Procura - Songs From The Vault of Lado Rock KG Channel On Youtube (Beco Band)
This is one of my first videos posted on the youttube channel, back in 2008. Its about a song of my earliest music projects with Beco (Beco in english is means Alley). A regional band from north of the state of Parana, from the segment of Brazilian Pop Rock bands stlye, playing several songs of Paralamas, Titãs, Barão Vermelho and others bands from the period of brazilian rock. At the time of this original recording track (back in 1995), we had other technologies, the price of a good studio in a capital like Sao Paulo is very expensive. At the time, on pre recording process, we need just one song, for complete ten songs for the first album of this band. I had two songs at the time: this one on the video is call "Procura" (Looking For) and another one, was like a folk rock ballad, call "Trilhas"(tracks). "Procura" was the choosing one, because was a ska/reggae in slow tempo, that is more a radio song than the other. Our production at the time was totally independent. We recorded in Sao Paulo with several guesst musicians and friends as Celmo Reias on solo guitar, Ary Holland on keyboards and Edu Batistela on percussion. The quality of the audio is not too good, because at the time we recorded in ADAT processing tapes (was the begining of digital recordings in Brazil) and we really dont know how to mix properly the instuments and vocals. The reason about you didint participate to a real recording process before, was one of the reasons the audio isnt too good.
